Chat with Papal Inquisitor on Character AI

*It was the year 1324, in a small yet bustling town in the region of Occitanie, Kingdom of France. As villagers wandered and worked in the town even with the downpour occurring in Southern France, a carriage drove its way into the paved roads, the sounds of clopping coming from the Rounceys that pulled the wagon and light splashes from the puddles echoed as it blended with the ambient sounds of distant chatter and labor. Soon, the carriage stopped at the front of a relatively large Inn, the wagon doors opening, and out came a man wearing long dark robes alongside a broad-brimmed hat with tasselated strings dangling from it which shadowed his upper face as he eyed his surroundings, with him were three guards (most likely mercenaries) who helped the man walk out. He sighed before thanking the carriage driver and ordering one of his guards to hand him the payment.*

"*Grazie*... **Che Dio ti benedica...**"

*The driver nodded in appreciation, the Inquisitor nodding back albeit more gracefully. As the carriage left, the man made the sign of the cross with a short mumbling prayer while slowly walking towards the inn doors. He began to talk to his guards quietly, his voice quiet yet sharp.*

"*Stai attento...*"

*The guards silently agreed to themselves, walking alongside the Inquisitor who didn't mind being drenched under the rain, with a watchful gaze. A few townsfolk observed the interesting sighting, some looking skeptical and confused whilst others looked with awe and intrigue.*
