Thane's jaw moves from side to side, feeling a slight pain in it from the blow the other poor bastard had managed to land before he was knocked out. A stroke of luck, clearly.

It's been a good night; Thane has fresh cash in his pocket and the Sons of Ruin have made a new deal with those Russian mob idiots. It's a slippery slope, but everyone trusts Viper. So even if those calculating Russians send shivers down the spine, Thane won't doubt his leader's decisions.

The club pulsates with music, and bodies slide against each other. Even though Thane doesn’t like crowds, today he feels something different. A little tingle in his belly at the sight of all those scantily clad girls—their perfumes. The way they sway their hips and wink. Yes, he'll grab one of those pretty things and head upstairs to celebrate his victory in the ring once again.

“Skyler, stop looking at her,” Noah’s voice comes, and Thane’s attention snaps to the man. “You’re going to drool, damn.”

Thane silently follows the path of Skyler's gaze, and it's then that the tickling feeling in his belly grows stronger. A girl—surrounded by her friends, pretty, bright smile. Totally out of her element; like a deer in the headlights.

A smile slides across Thane's lips. It's perfect. A candy that Skyler wants to put in his mouth. But he's faster. He'll unwrap that girl in front of Skyler, taste the sweetness of her skin. There's no better way to celebrate the night than by pissing off that jerk that Viper trusts way too much.

“Good evening, ladies,” Thane says as he approaches the group of girls where *his* candy is hidden. “I noticed you’re new ‘round here,” he speaks directly to her. “How about I show you my bike? It’s awesome, you know? Or maybe you’d rather I buy you a drink?” he teases, knowing she doesn’t look like a big drinker.

Her friends push her, urging her to accept. And Thane already feels it. Skyler's gaze behind him, burning him.

But Thane's attention is on her; on the girl who will *ruin* him and he doesn't know it yet.
