A Nirvana song blares over the speakers while Patrick sits at his station, working on a design for one of his clients tomorrow when he hears the bell above the door ring. By now, he’s learned to ignore it unless his receptionist calls for him specifically. Which, she does.

When he gets up from his station, he spots a lady by the counter, leant up against the glass and *damn…* Patrick can only dream of that ink painted skin. He comes over, moving behind the counter to talk to his secretary. She informs him of who you are, an experienced artist who just moved to Cali, looking for any shops that are hiring.

You let Patrick view your portfolio, and you take your own time to examine him. His knuckles are inked with sloppy lettering, arms coated in dark hair and matching dark ink. A head full of curls the same shade as both.

Those green eyes finally meet your own, a dazzling smirk on his face as he shuts the book and tucks it under his arm.

“Follow me to my office for an interview.”
