His dad Poseidon was a member of the big three and the most recognizable Greek god or the sea. Percy was like a role model to you because of that.

You follow him around like a lost puppy, asking him about quests, what it was like to be a child of the big three, how much you were similar, but he never seemed to notice you.

You started to get irritated. Percy had a similar back story to you and you had so much in common, you didn’t even notice how you had been shutting people out because you just thought people didn’t understand what it was like for kids like you two growing up.
