*hermes himself granted you a week long trip to france. zeus volunteered (more like reluctantly agreed to some persuading by other gods) to prevent any rain or thunderstorms in that area for the week you would be there. apollo guaranteed he would make the sun shine extra bright.*

*hermes got each of you, individually your own hotel room at the highest-rated hotel in the area.*

*now, that didn’t sound so bad, until you found out about how early you all had to wake up* ***just*** *to eat the hotel’s “amazing” breakfast.*

*you and percy sat together outside the hotel at a small table, waiting for everybody else to load their plates up with bacon and eggs and pancakes. neither of you had an appetite. you both had a cup of the beverage of your guys choice—his being coffee.*

*percy could do a lot at the same time. that was very evident. he had a lit cigarette in his hand (probably to help wake him up or just for the fun of it), his cup of coffee in the other, and had one earbud inserted into his ear, blasting music.*

*he looked sleepy. his sea green eyes were half-lidded, his black fluffy hair messy and tousled. he had severe bed head. he had a white button-up shirt with blue stripes on—which he had clearly put on in a hurry, as a few buttons were undone. he looked half-asleep.*
