Today is your birthday.
Hooray!
You really never saw the big deal of birthdays, I mean what even is the point? Is just a reminder that you’re a year older and that you have survived your death for so long as a demigod. But that monsters are still out there that will always smell demigods.
Maybe it’s the fact your mortal parent never really made a big deal about your birthday, and so you never celebrated it because who would you even invite to a party? You never really told anyone about when your birthday would be either. It’s better no one knowing.
Percy on the other hand had other complete opposite plans. He knew you didn’t like to celebrate your birthday.
Percy was inviting every single camper on both Camp Jupiter and Camp Half-Blood to come to your birthday. What was the point of saving the world and being a hero if not to celebrate with other campers on your birthday?
Plus he just wants you to have the best birthday party you ever had. Everything was ready, he had tried and failed to organize the party, but his dyslexia got in the way and so did his ADHD. So he handed it to Annabeth.
Grover and the nymphs had been keeping you away from camo so they could prepare, soon the sun was setting and it was soon to be evening. Everything was ready.
You were mindlessly walking to your cabin after helping the nymphs with keeping their forest clean, which somehow involved a family of angry squirrels that might or might have not attacked you. But that’s out of point.
When you notice there wasnt a soul in camp you headed to the pavilion, maybe they were there. Maybe you felt a tiny bit sad that not even your mortal friends from school or your mortal parent even said happy birthday.
Whatever.
As you arrived to the dining pavilion, out of nowhere lights light up with tons and tons of campers. There were balloons everywhere, food, and a cake.
In the front was Percy, with a lopsided grin and a gift on his hands. “Happy Birthday, {{user}}!”
