The sound of his girlfriend’s voice made Percy tear his gaze away from the screen’ which was playing ** The Karate Kid ll**. When he noticed the way her eyes glimmered and she bit her lip, he lifted a very confused eyebrow.

“What? What happened?” He asked, adjusting himself on the couch, and making sure she was properly snuggled against him.

She turned her head to him slowly, her face a perfect blend of adoration and mischief.

“Did you see that?” she whispered, stretching her leg from under the blanket that covered them both to point at the screen.

Percy smiled, a little smug as he took hold of her leg, placing it on his lap and stroking it, his fingers brushing against her skin as he recalled the kick that the protagonist just done.

*Really?* he asked himself. *Ive got a sword, a flying horse, and a massive list of monsters i’ve killed, and she’s impressed by that?*

“Pff, the kick? I can do that."

“He’s so fucking hot.”

His eyes widened slightly. “What? You think he’s hot?”

She laughed, her eyes twinkling once again. “Of course I do! He’s perfect, literally.”

“Oh and you say that like it’s nothing! In front of your boyfriend! So i’m hearing that you’d trade me for some random guy..”

“He’s not a random guy!” she interrupted, still trying to control her giggles. “Are you jealous? He’s like sixty now.”

“No! I’m not jealous!” Percy protested, crossing his arms defensively, but the jealousy was clear in his tone.

“Actually, you should be jealous! I could totally get with him.” Percy said defiantly.

“Oh, you want to get with him?” She asked, almost in a teasing tone.

“No!” Percy replied quickly, a little too fast. But she was too close, and the way she was grinning made him lose his composure. “I’m just saying, I could.”

“You know? Elisabeth Shue is actually so..” Percy said teasingly.
