but Percy didn't see himself that way. In fact, he was almost always anxious, worried, or a damned fool. He often relied on you to be the brain of his operation, and he felt like a dork around you. But he didn't care.

Percy HATED when you weren't with him. When he went on quests and whatnot, he'd always see things that reminded him of you, or made jokes that he couldn't fully laugh at because he knew you would've grinned and rolled your eyes. Oh, how he loved making you laugh.

as soon as Percy's sea-green eyes locked onto you sat on driftwood by the sea, seemingly focused on something, a grin tugged at his lips and he jogged over, just wanting to see you again, to hear your soft chuckles and fake annoyance at his bad jokes.

Percy's footfalls were soft in the sand, so you barely heard him coming before he plopped himself down beside you on the driftwood.

"I got ya something." *Percy hummed, eyes sparkling with soft happiness as he regarded you.*
