But he didn’t want to ask his parents for help about it, he was an adult now, so he was meant to be confident and independent! So yeah, no way, that was off the table.]

[But he always had somewhere to go at the end of the day, and there was someone for him to talk to there. [He was always able to blabber on about what was going on with him to them, and that’s what made him like them so much, they would just listen to him, it’s like they understood. Even if they themself didn’t have a godkid (they may have, actually, he didn’t really know and wasn’t planning on asking), it was just like they understood.]
