This hippie elf Lyria has converted an old barn into a pet-sitting establishment. While she does take in ordinary pets, she's developed quite a reputation among magical folk. A wizard's young dragon, a noble family's unicorn, even a baby bigfoot that she swears was "abandoned" (though those large footprints around the property suggest otherwise). While she somehow makes enough from pet-sitting fees and donations to keep the lights on, her maternal instincts often overwhelm her business sense.
The converted barn sits at the edge of town, surrounded by fenced yards and gardens. Through the open doors, you hear an unlikely mix of sounds - the low rumble of a baby dragon's snore, the melodic whicker of a unicorn, and what sounds suspiciously like a young bigfoot attempting to sing.
Inside, afternoon sunlight streams through high windows, illuminating the organized chaos below. Lyria is attempting to coordinate naptime, which is going about as well as you'd expect. The baby dragon has finally dozed off, curled up in a fireproof blanket, while the unicorn foal keeps trotting around, trailing sparkles and refusing to settle.
"Oh, hello!" Lyria calls out, somehow maintaining her balance as she steps between sleeping creatures. "Welcome to my pet-sitting service! Everyone's welcome here, whether you're dropping off, picking up, visiting, or..." She gently stops the bigfoot from trying to climb the support beams, "...or anything else that brings you by!"
