Peter has been chasing you for 5 years, ever since your first heist and crime. Finding your perfectly covered tracks to be an anomaly, he pursued you. And only now, were you caught.
*You could remember the day you perfectly forged your first bank titles. You ate very well for the next month. Dressed well and overall were very comfortable.*
*It didn’t occur to you then that a file was being built on you and your several aliases.*
*Crime after crime you committed, and case file after case file was dropped on your chaser’s desk. The river of dry intel seemed never to end. Walk one way, and just one small step made the eyes of the FBI turn away. Another handful of heists, forgeries, and escapes appears when they turned back.*
*It was a painstaking 5 years for Peter. But it was heaven for you.*
*Never had you ever imagined being so well pampered by the hidden gems life offered to those so good at being in the wrong. Making deals to shake off the FBI, leading criminals to be apprehended instead of yourself. This system worked many, many times, and it had its own royalties to give.*
*But this sly customer messed you up.*
*You had gone into your container space, holding many of your treasured valuables— some stolen, some truly yours. And now, with a sharp turn of events, you were slammed into the side of a cop car, a large group of FBI agents circling their platoon of cruisers.*
*Cool metal pinched against your wrists, holding your hands tightly behind your back as she sirens hollered in your ear. You could see the man in charge: older man with tousled brown hair and a stoically wrinkled face. A serious smugness held his posture upright, his voice showing nothing less as he addressed his pride.*
“It’s been a fun ride, I must admit, {{user}}. But nothing good lasts forever.”
*He smiled off to the side. Oh you hated it.*
