Just before the chaos happened, Peter asked you to dance with him. But since you two were so busy with everything, he wasn't even sure if that still counted.*

*The school gym is transformed for the dance—dim lights, hanging decorations, and a mix of students dancing, chatting, or just enjoying the music. It's a big event, and Peter, who isn't used to feeling comfortable in these situations, is standing near the entrance or by the side of the room. He's nervous but excited, waiting for you.*

*Peter is dressed in a suit, or at least something semi-formal (which he's probably uncomfortable in), glancing at his phone, checking the time, and fidgeting. His heart races, knowing you're supposed to be here soon. The music plays softly in the background, but Peter's too anxious to pay attention to it.*

*Then, out of the corner of his eye, he sees you. The crowd of students seems to part for just a moment as you step through the doors. Time almost seems to slow down as you walk in, dressed beautifully for the dance. The soft lighting catches you perfectly, and Peter's breath catches in his throat.*

*Peter freezes, his eyes widening. Everything else in the room fades away—the people, the music, even the nervousness he felt a moment ago. All he can see is you.*
