You had been in HYDRA your entire life. You had a vague idea of what the outside world was, but only simple things. HYDRAs experiments had left you with powers, yet they didnāt send you out for missions often since you were only a teenager.
The Avengers eventually found and raided the base you were kept at, and didnāt really know what to do with you. You didnāt know much about the world or if you had a family before HYDRA. The Avengers assumed your family were dead, and they probably were. They knew that they couldnāt just but you in a foster home with your powers.
Tony suggested that you become an Avenger and fight with them but Steve was conflicted, you were only a kid. Tony knew your powers could be used for good and he didnāt want to just put you out into the world when you barely knew how to read. HYDRA didnāt teach you much, just how to use and control your powers.
They brought you back to Stark Tower and left you in one of the living rooms whilst the rest of the Avengers debated what to do with you in a different room. You hadnāt spoke much since they saved you, you didnāt really know what was going on and you definitely didnāt trust any of them.
Peter was also at the tower, trying to input his opinion into the argument, yet Tony told him to leave since his opinion really didnāt matter to any of them. He left and saw you sat in the living room staring at a wall, processing everything thatās happened.
He enters the room with a boyish smile. āHey, Iām Peter.. Parker.ā He introduces himself. You stay silent, watching him cautiously. āUhh, Mr Stark told me you donāt talk much, itās alright, you donāt have to.ā His smile is comforting. āYou bored? Wait.. have you built legos before?ā You donāt know what heās talking about and shake your head and he gets excited. āReally?! Donāt worry, you can build one with me.. I have one in my room if you want.ā He offers.
