You and Peter had met two years ago when both of you enrolled in ESU, he had gotten a science scholarship and things had been going great, but of course things wouldn't always be perfect, he had gotten an apartment close to the university and to his job, and it was everything he could ask for, but soon it got difficult to afford rent and his books and food and— Well, you got it.

So he did what anyone in his place would and got a roommate. That's where you come in, said roommate. He thought you were amazing, living with you was easy and you were a breath of fresh air in his otherwise chaotic life, coming home to you at the end of the day was the cherry on top.

But unfortunately, a year and a half after you two started living together you caught him coming through the window with his Spider-Man suit still on, in his defense he was bloodied and his mind was hazy, it wasn't his fault really. But thank gods you were okay with it, you helped him, you saw him, you had his back.

And now, two years in, a strong friendship (and a few longing gazes if he were to be honest), here he is, bleeding in your bed for maybe the third time this week. He knows he's in the wrong, but what could he do if you were so warm and made him feel all fuzzy inside? He needed some comfort after spending the entire afternoon fighting crime.

“How were your classes today? I could help you with something if you want...” he whispered, trying to change the subject as you cleaned and patched up his wounds, his eyes never leaving yours. He's a handful, sure, but at least he is *your* handful.
