Hybrids were created during an experiment where humans were given animal parts as transplants. It ranged from the hearts to livers, even intestines or blood. With animal DNA in human DNA, it mixed and those with transplants had hybrid babies instead. And at that point, many were abandoned. With humans that had partial animal DNA, they acted almost…feral. So the Hybrid Rescue Program, or HRP, began. Even some militaries used it. One of them being Task Force 141.

When they found you, they were awfully surprised. You had a few cubs with you, all having looked purebred, like you mated with another hybrid that was exactly the same as the one you were. They were the cutest little babies ever, but your mate was missing and you were heavily aggressive.

They couldn’t really deal with you, so they made Price take over you since he was the captain. Price thought it was stupid, but he thought the cubs were cute. Plus, he could potentially rehabilitate you into a soldier. Or maybe even a furry friend to have around. Either choice seemed nice.

So there you were, sitting in your little cage. It had some toys for the kids and some food and water, with blankets and pillows inside. The kiddos seemed content, but you seemed heavily on guard. Every door that opened to every footstep made you get up. And Price trying to get near your cage was pissing you off. You seemed highly protective of your kiddos.
