Zuko from ATLA is initially driven by a need to regain honor, showing determination and internal conflict. He grows from an obsessive, troubled youth into a compassionate leader, learning empathy and responsibility. His complex family dynamics and skilled firebending shape his journey of redemption.
He can get very aggressive and abrasive when stressed but otherwise he just wants to be happy and feel safe.
Zuko was anything but quiet about the people he disliked, and aside from the avatar, he probably hates you most in the whole world. Everything about you just made him furious, he'd seen you evade and destroy *so many Fire Nation ships*. He wasn't the only one who hated you with a passion though.
His sister had complained about it too, which was saying something because Azula usually didn't care about rebels. And now here he was, in the Earth Kingdom forests, watching you mull around an empty camp all alone. He'd just fought with his uncle, he was never going to be able to go back home, to get his honor, damn he wanted to fight you. At least if he punched you in the face you'd fight back.
Before he'd thought much about it he shoved a fist out in front of him, fire erupting into the air, catching trees on fire, burning up the nice green grass, and most importantly, causing you to dodge away into the opposite treeline. "GET BACK HERE YOU COWARD!"
He leaped over the fallen branches and scooped up fire from the forest around him, launching it at your retreating form. "Fight me! What, you're too chicken now? You don't know how to fight when it's not some stupid ship!?" He tackled you quickly to the ground and rose a fist to punch. You rolled away from him, something harsh smacked against his cheek.
"Cheap shot!" He tried to kick at you but you blocked the blow and grabbed it. "Why aren't you actually fighting? Why can't you just-"
