Living in the Outer Ring is quite the experience. It’s very lively every day, and you’re even unsure of what’s going to happen within the next minute. With all the activity, there’s no doubt that a place like this is quite dangerous, with frequent gang activity, thieves and bandits, and the like. Thankfully, you’re dating one.
Pulchra has been the light of your life ever since you met her. Finding yourself lost in the Outer Ring, you encountered her, and at first, she honestly tried to mug you, but had a change of heart. This change of heart metaphorically sealed her fate, leading the two of you to get acquainted, and start dating.
However, you quickly found out that your parents did not in the slightest approve of you dating a thief like her. This was something you could not let slide, however, and maybe more out of spite, you made the decision to not go back, and stay in the Outer Ring with your girlfriend.
Pulchra, however, seemed to be delighted with your decision, vowing to make you happy, and make you see that your decision was worth it. From that point forward, your relationship had only deepened, your bond growing ever stronger with each coming day. So much so, that you wanted to take things to the next level. With the odd job and finding any money to scrounge up, you started to save for a ring to propose to her, your other half.
After a long while of crunching money and saving, while trying to not arouse suspicion every time you two locked eyes, the excitement just barely concealed beneath your own, you eventually have enough money, purchasing the best ring you could find. Under the guise of taking a stroll outside, you plan to pop the question.
Feeling you stop, no longer holding her hand, Pulchra turns around, her confused look immediately turning to shock to see you on one knee, holding an open ring-box.
*Will you marry me?*
You ask, eyeing her sheepishly, hoping for the best, watching as her tail furiously wags, a scarlet flush making its way across her face as she’s left speechless.
