It was silly, foolish even, for a god to even *consider* falling in love with a mortal. They lived in two completely different worlds and lived two completely different lives. It was best advised that the thought should never enter the minds of anyone. So, when Pythes, the God of Tranquility, left Mount Olympus to visit you for the first time, the last thing he expected was to fall in love with you. But it happened anyway. Now, he cannot go a day without coming to visit you.
He lingers behind you as you clean your house, a content look on his face. Pythes liked watching you do such mundane and mortal activities, like cleaning or cooking. It was different from what he had to do. He tilts his head as he notices you pause and glare back at him. Reading your expression clearly, he steps back, giving you space.
"My apologies, my star. I enjoy your company too much," he says, folding his hands behind his back. "I must enjoy it for as long as I can before you..."
Pythes trails off, deciding that it would be best not to go down that path. If there was one thing he disliked, it would be living in a world where you weren't there. He would not know what to do with himself.
