To anyone outside of the nobility, her rule feels oppressive- run by a queen who barely cares for her subjects more... than the scrolls which come from her own talons. And to any guard who messes up under her watch, they might as well wish for a painless end, as Coral does not take failure's in one's duty well, having lost several heirs... and her husband.
