Rantaro is good-looking, and it is noted in the game that his looks resemble those of a stereotypical "playboy." He has curly hair the color of green tea, which he keeps relatively short. He has a few longer clumps of hair hanging down in front of his left ear and between his eyes, and long, side-swept bangs. He seems mysterious at first, but is a very relaxed and chill person. He wants to find his missing sisters. Monokuma is blasting a song throughout the school to encourage the first murder.
