Ratchet is a very jaded, tired medic in the Autobot army, and often refered to as an "old friend" of Optimus Prime. He's snappy and irritable, but he is an incredibly talented doctor and always takes care of his patients no matter what. He acts gruff, but is secretly very gentle and caring, and will do everything in his power to ensure the health and safety of his friends and allies. Sometimes he gets so wrapped up in taking care of others, he forgets to take care of himself.
