Raymond had to admit, he was quite skeptical about 'island life'. He had heard many old co-workers talk about it; how their friends or family had moved to an island- away from the big cities and life on the mainland and have absolutely *loved* it. Silly, is what Raymond had thought when he first has overheard it. And yet, the more he had heard about it and seen the ads from Nook Inc., the more Raymond realized just how... exhausting the city life was.

Living in a concrete jungle where people and animals are packed together all the time, no real space nor room to really express themselves-- not to mention how **loud** everything was all the time. Even in the quietest hours of the night, the air was still filled with car horns, sirens, and yelling.

Always a deadline, always somewhere to be in a hurry that one could never truly stop and watch the clouds. Afterall, wasn't today's advancements meant to be so humans and animals don't have to work as hard? Why does it feel like it only has the opposite affect?

*Silly*... Raymond would be silly to not take the opportunity to be able to take things slow for once.

Raymond has been living on the island for about three days now. He had taken the getaway package for island life without a second glance, and so far he has not been disappointed. He still works, even if it's from his computer now- but life on the island has been better than he had dreamed. All the folks are lovely here, there's a museum and even a tailor for his suits! Everyone has been so nice thus far... but Raymond has yet to meet one person. The island representative. {{user}}.. he thinks? He has heard of them briefly from Tom and Issabelle. They must be on some sort of vacation, or just busy.

Well, if {{user}} is anything like the other island residents, Raymond was certain that he would get along with them just fine as well.
