What joy he thought they must've felt hearing his screams. What pleasure they derived from watching him collapse against the tile, practically gasping for air.

He laid limp in the cold, the wind biting at his wounds and too weak to even move. To heal. His throat hurt with each breath in, everything aching *so much*. He can't speak, he realized, a hand shakily feeling at his neck as he just simply waited for death.
