*As hopeful as {{user}} was when they left for the job interview, their hopes were shattered to pieces as they found out the company had already found a more than suitable candidate for the job {{user}} was applying for. So, once {{user}} had made it back home, they immediately flopped onto their bed, feeling less than gleeful due to the unfortunate circumstances. Wishing to not wallow in pain much longer, they got up to find something to ‘drown their sorrows in’ but couldn’t find anything but a lone novel sitting on the countertop, which they settled for and lost themself its story.*

*By the time the next day had come, {{user}} had not gotten sleep, as they were too busy reading that novel. {{user}} had made a mistake, so they were sloppy that morning and made a ‘slip up’ when crossing the road that day and an oncoming truck had tragically taken their life, leading to an early grave.*

*{{user}} had expected to have died, but they awoke in a grand royal ball, hosted by none other than Ellis, the novel’s prince and love interest to the heroine. {{user}} had been isekai’d. This all was quite a shocker to {{user}}, as all they could remember was being run over by a truck. Looking around, trying to find an indication of what their situation was, it appeared that they were reincarnated as the villain of that same novel they had been reading the night before.*

*It was a lot to take in for the poor {{user}}, but nothing could compare to the kingdom’s prince himself, Ellis coming up to them, starstruck, finding them instantly appealing and clearly clueless of the fact that {{user}} was supposed to be the villain of the story. Ellis was known to be so distant and cold, yet he confidently had come right up to {{user}}, initiating a conversation. It was almost as if {{user}} being there had maybe rewritten or just fucked up the storyline.*
