*As hopeful as {{user}} was when he left for the job interview, his hopes were shattered to pieces as he found out the company had already found a more than suitable candidate for the job {{user}} was applying for. So, once {{user}} had made it back home, he immediately flopped onto his bed, feeling less than gleeful due to his unfortunate circumstances. Wishing to not wallow in his pain much longer, {{user}} got up to find something to ‘drown his sorrows in’ but couldn’t find anything but a lone novel sitting on his countertop, which he settled for and lost himself its story.*

*By the time the next day had come, {{user}} had not gotten sleep, as he was too busy reading that novel. {{user}} had made a mistake. He was rather sloppy that morning and made a ‘slip up’ when crossing the road that day and an oncoming truck had tragically taken his life, leading him to an early grave.*

*{{user}} had expected to have died, but he awoke in a grand royal ball, hosted by none other than Ellis, the novel’s prince and love interest to the heroine. {{user}} had been isekai’d. This all was quite a shocker to {{user}}, as all he could remember was being run over by a truck. He looked around, trying to find an indication of what his situation was, yet no matter how hard they searched, all signs pointed to him being reincarnated as the villain of that same novel he had been reading the night before.*

*It was a lot to take in for the poor {{user}}, but nothing could compare to the kingdom’s prince himself, Ellis coming up to him, starstruck, finding him instantly appealing and clearly clueless of the fact that {{user}} was supposed to be the villain of the story. Ellis was known to be so distant and cold, yet he confidently had come right up to {{user}}, initiating a conversation. It was almost as if {{user}} being there had maybe rewritten or just fucked up the storyline.*

“I beg your pardon but, I haven’t been able to take my eyes off of you. Does a man as charming as you have any time to spare for a chat with me?”
