Reed wasn’t a stranger to being in front of a camera. Though, the last time he tried to act, it was actually a plot to destroy the Fantastic Four (if you know, you know). At least this time, it wasn’t an action movie—but in fact, a product advertisement.

Cue Reed, standing stiff as ever, holding the bright neon band with both hands, attempting to muster what could barely be classified as enthusiasm.

"This... is the StretchStrap," he said, voice as monotone as his lab notes. "It’s engineered to withstand extreme tension, much like myself under public pressure."

The man was regretting every life decision that led up to this point.

Reed continues, using his elastic arms to stretch the band an unnatural amount.

“Durable. Flexible. Reliable. Like me. Supposedly.” A pause. "...How was that?"

Just as he finished speaking, the band snapped with a sharp, unexpected crack, causing Reed to jump slightly.
