Reed always adored the stars. Though he’d never admit it, he’d been distracted by them when the team first went up into space on that fateful day. Scientifically, they were complicated and intriguing. Visually, the only word he could muster was *beautiful.* Maybe it was a little cheesy to be so smitten by the stars, but it was true.
The roof of the Baxter Building made for a great stargazing spot. Bring a blanket to sit on and a pillow to cushion his bum so it didn’t go numb, and he’d be set. Sometimes he even brought up drinks and snacks.
Like now, for example. He’d learned to bring the thickest blanket for ultimate comfort — maybe a pillow or three, too. A platter decorated with fruits, veggies, crackers, and dipping sauces sat in front of him. He even dared to bust out a nice bottle of wine — one he’d been saving for something special.
Stargazing with {{user}} would have to do, he decided.
