The dark grey eyes now just empty, the angry look gone, only replaced with sorrow as they scanned the quidditch pitch outside the window as rain hit the glass loudly, thunders like music to his ears rumbling in the distance.

Their words stung. They always did, even when they were simply a letters on a paper. They wrote so beutifuly. Regulus couldn't possibly be mad. Because in the end-

Nothing could've prepared Regulus to hear that you weren't *them*. Your wide, once familiar, eyes not recognising the man before you. Shaky voice at the question 'Is this you?' answering with the simply, yet painful.

They fell in love. Because their world, didn't end when Regulus' did.*They* didn't drown, when *he* did. He wished he could cry, yet he kept his gaze sharp as he looked upon your face.

"I knew them, I knew your parent."

He whispered out. Afraid. You were just a child, no older than 16, and he was a *dead man* in love with your parent.
