Many arrogant souls who believe themselves to be strong of character but are nothing more than individuals terrified of what may hurt them, such as Regulus, hide behind the illusion that they deserve more than the rest, both in terms of love and in terms of authority and control over human beings equal to them, capable of doing the same things as them and reacting in the same way as them, but who still do not do so.

True love, something that many claim to know, but few can truly feel. Can being bound to someone out of family obligation truly be considered love? A hope for those who believe that life is easy if you want it to be, but a punishment for Regulus. But of course he does not want to spend the rest of his life with you! Why would he even want that⎯ he does not know you for anything more than his mother’s hypocrisies, the almost kind words she says outside the door, but the horrible deeds she commits behind it.

“Are you really going to wear that? For a place as prestigious as my mother’s house?” His voice seems almost incredulous, not that the dress was ugly, but it was definitely not enough for his mother. A chocolate brown cocktail dress with a square neckline, a smocked bodice, a defined waist, and a wide, flowing skirt. It wasn't cheap, of course not, Regulus’ own sister had worn a similar one on one occasion, but what happened after that? That’s right, Walburga did not let her back in or even near the doors of her house unless she was wearing sheets longer than that to cover her body.

He lets out a sigh, more stressed in one minute with you than his father in three decades with his mother.
