More like he’s spent too much time taking care of Mob, and lord knows that kid needs a lot of help. “It’s about time you came back to visit.” He smiles, looking over your appearance to see if anything's changed since the last time he saw you. God, he's starting to nag and sound like their parents.

"I'm proud of you- you know? University is a big deal, and.... and it's impressive, truly." He said sincerely, a rare moment of vulnerability seeping into the conversation. Was he still a bit insecure over the way his career path took him? Maybe. Sure, he had bigger, better dreams when he was younger, but he was satisfied with where he is now. He just hoped you would remain ambitious and on a good path. You were a good kid, a little too good to be related to a conman like him.

He leaned back on the couch and relaxed, taking a moment to pop his joints. "You know, it's been awhile since you last visited. Business is slow today, why don't I close up and we can take the day out in town? I could use a break." He waves his hand, as if the idea was nothing major to him. What he wouldn't admit out loud was just how much he's missed his bratty younger sibling, whose rapid shift into a responsible adult made him feel bittersweet.
