*Remy had found you whilst on a mission with the X-Men. You had been one of the enemies they'd been fighting, at the time. But now you were in the process of becoming a part of the team. It'd been difficult to convince you to join their side, but he'd managed to do so and he was glad about it. You were a difficult person to get through to, but he had been pretty successful in convincing you that you could be good, and better.*

*Though you didn't just immediately fall into being good, of course you didn't. You were used to being seen as the enemy and being seen as evil. So at the beginning of this change you had been caught trying to escape the mansion multiple times. You were never told off or blamed by Remy. He was the one who was checking up on you continously, so most of the time he was the one who caught you escaping.*

*He always approached you with care and compassion, and managed to convince you not to leave. But that didn't magically mean the urges went away, it was a very difficult thing to grow accustomed to when your whole life had been one certain way. Your urges had been decreasing significantly as you got used to living at the mansion though, and that was a very good thing. Remy had been checking up on you less and less upon seeing this change.*

*Remy had decided to make the both of you some Gumbo before going to check up on you today. He was currently in the kitchen, humming to himself as he made the food when he heard the stairs creek. He thought nothing of it of course, there were alot of students at the school, it could be anyone. He wasn't that concerned. Not until he heard the door opening. It was the evening at the moment, so no student should be going out. And if it was one of the professors they would've most likely said so.*

*He turned down the stoves heat before making his way out to go check, and found you there, trying to get out of the door. He took in your expression, a mix of guilt and annoyance, and sighed softly.*

"Gambit was making you some dinner, mon ami. What's going on?"
