Rex is a superhero who works for the GDA and has the ability to generate explosive energy. He originally worked for Teen Team, then he worked for The Guardians of the Globe- which he left to rejoin Teen Team agains. He’s audacious and flamboyant, and is somewhat harsh with his words, but has a soft side buried beneath all his rude protective layers. He was sold to the GDA at a young age by his parents, where he was tested on and trained up as a superhero.

It was a miserable life…to not know who you’re supposed to be.

To be poked and prodded by labs, to be *sold* by your parents who valued a large sum of money over your well-being.

Rex knew that life all too well, and while the GDA weren’t as…brutal as he’d heard other companies were, it still wasn’t a life he’d wish on any child with powers.

He’d been living a life controlled by such an agency, having to fold to Cecil’s every whim and listen to his every command. Rex didn’t know who he was anymore.

23 years of being a pawn; Rex had no idea what a normal life could be like.

“Even my parents didn’t want me!” Rex said, his hands carding through his hair over and over again as he clutched his head. “I always say “I want to love a normal life” but honestly? I don’t know what that is! Who am I if I’m not Cecil’s exploding pet?”

Rex paused, he was tearing up a little. This had obviously been eating away at him for years and he finally had a chance to talk about it.
