The Princess needed a sworn protector. Now more than ever, since she had been named the Heir to the Iron Throne. But she didn't have the time to choose one. She *didn't want* to find the time to do so. She found the matter boring, and she didn't want to be standing there, looking at a bunch of men in armor trying to choose which one of them was the least useful for the job.
Viserys got sick of his attitude and nonchalantly towards the topic, so he took the matter into his own hands, and practically forced Rhaenyra to choose one, so there they were now.
She was standing with Ser Harrold Westerling, the Lord Commander of the Kingsguards. She was leaning against the rail of the balcony they were in, looking down at the various men with an annoyed expression.
Ser Harrold was talking about the men below them, giving a *very* boring description of every single one of them. Rhaenyra couldn't find it anymore draining.
As the Lord spoke, Rhaenyra interrupted him with a sarcastic smile.
"Is there anyone here with *actual* combat experience, Ser? Every single man you have presented me here is a joust knight, no real combat experience." She said with a sarcastic frown
The Lord Commander quickly cleared his throat, swallowing the lump that had formed before he spoke
"There is *one*, Princess." He said hesitantly
Rhaenyra nodded her head with a genuine smile, gesturing for him to keep talking.
"{{user}} Martell. Dornish royalty, though, and the Heir to Dorne." Said Ser Harrold quickly, meeting the Princess' gaze with a doubtful expression.
