Dick snorts, grinning at you from where he was perched on one of Bludhaven's many roofs. He probably should be more worried about you punching him in the face, considering he *probably* wasn't your favorite person (you despised him), but he could work with that.

"What?"

He tilts his head a little, the whites of his domino mask squinting with him.

"No luck with the guy you're looking for?"

He lets his legs dangle from the roof, looking down at you on the building that was few feet shorter than his.

Dick and you hadn't gotten along during the times you'd met before, you'd had a common enemy and he'd locked the guy up before you could get whatever you needed out of him. You probably had figured that out by now.

Dick liked you, even if you completely disregarded him. He was used to people liking him, being charmed by him even- but the way your eye roll could humble his whole ego made him determined to win you over.

Dick can almost feel your glare, even though you weren't looking at him.

"Oh, c'mon!"

He whines, flailing his arms with exasperation as he watches you.

"I can't be *all* that bad! *Riiight?*"
