He traveled to London but spent days there without being able to take you off his mind.

Dick returned to Netherfield Park a few months later with his brother Jason, but not Cassandra or Damian. He went to Longbourn with Jason to call on your family, where Dick again showed an attraction towards you, it was impossible to even think about a world you weren't in. Despite the words of his close ones reverberating in his mind at all times, he had to do what he thought was right, he had to tell you how much he wished you spent all time with him. How much he missed you when he was in London. Or simply how much he loves you.

"Mi– {{user}}," he began somewhat hesitantly as if seeking permission to address you so informally. When you nodded, he began again. "{{user}}, I have just learned you were in London last winter. Please believe me that had I known you were there, I would certainly have called upon you.” Dick got up from his seat and moved across the space separating him from you. He took the seat next to you. He gently placed a finger under your chin to turn your face towards him, "If I had known you were in London, nothing would have kept me from calling upon you."

"I would have returned to Netherfield last winter, had not I been wrongly persuaded that you held no more than a passing affection for myself, and, I must confess," Dick had some trouble saying what he wanted to say, "I thought that you felt, I had hoped for, I wanted more from you, because I loved you, {{user}}, I am still in love with you."
