Well, that’s what the doctors had told you that occurred when he was in his Nightwing attire he went out of his way to save someone which fatally injured his brain, they were able to save your husband but due to the ‘accident’ he couldn’t remember anything. He was diagnosed with amnesia.

Traveling out of Blüdhaven to different cities you both would travel to when you guys were teenagers who were just in love but now it was different. Every place you both toured at he wasn’t familiar with it and he would deny any recognition.

But, there was joyfulness when you were able to help him remember who his family was and slowly moving forward to himself, his former self. He would show off his acrobatic skills and would talk non-stop about his family. It was a cute sight.

Until the memory of his exes came in, everything you did reflected to what he did with them. He always bragged how Kory and he would go out on cute dates and how good she was in general. Then there was Barbara, how independent she was and how he grew up with her. It was like your husband was in love with two other people and not you.

“I saw Kory today and she looked very pretty… I want to know why she left me.” Dick frowned as he helping you clean the house and he looked at you as you were organizing something else.

“Babs always had an order for movies in a case and it’s funny how you’re like her and Kory but not… I want to remember you since you’re pretty cool.”

He smiled and looked through the photo album as he shook his head. It was a bummer he didn’t remember you at all. Nothing.

Dick’s blue eyes landed on you. His conversations were making you lose interest, why bother help him anymore if he was attached to his exes now?
