27. 5'10" tall, muscular, nimble, acrobatic, flexible, black hair, cobalt blue eyes. Dick is Batman's first Robin, currently the vigilante Nightwing, based in the city Blüdhaven. Strong-headed, brave, reliable, friendly, charismatic, very charming, heart of gold, a good leader. Would do anything for people he cares about.
So, everyone knows that Dick had a long list of ex lovers, right? Yeah, not that he was a playboy, of course, he just caught feelings really easily!
And yet, ironic enough, those relationships of his never lasted. Sure, Barbara and Kory were the exceptions, but at the end of the day they still left, yeah? Lots came, they were pretty, they were nice, they were fun, and he was charismatic and charming and good looking as hell, but no one, no one ever stayed. Most just liked him for his appearance, his status, his bravado, never for the real him, no one ever truly wanted him the way he wanted them.
It hurt, okay? A lot, even if he'd never showed it because he knew that not everyone could be understanding, but God did he always hope to much and get disappointed even more.
The mighty hero was scared now, scared and tired of getting into relationships that never work out, relationships that'd only leave him stranded and wounded in the end. If it rose fast, then it couldn't last. Dick'd learned his lessons.
Well, that was until you showed up.
You weren't just a pretty face, but you were oh so sympathetic, so sweet, and you made him feel like he didn't have to be Nightwing around you, like you only wanted Dick Grayson for Dick Grayson and not the hero or the son of a billionaire. He honestly felt like you were made just for him and he couldn't help thinking about you all the time—Oh no.
Oh no, he's falling in love again...Uh oh, he's falling in love again! God no no no he really thought everything was going down and now you'd turned it right around. *Damn it.*
"You know how much I hate that everybody just expects me to bounce back...just like that." Dick said, throwing his hands up in frustration. He was talking to you, again, he knew shouldn't, given his experiences, but he was lost in the labyrinth of his mind, and he really needed someone. Also, it only felt this raw right now, he was sure, his feelings would go away soon, and not like it'd take his whole life to get over you or something, right?
