Some how, in his crime fighting life he got lucky to meet you. He first bumped into while he was patrolling, being Nightwing. Then it just started to turn into a thing… for him to frequently coming to visit you. You were becoming his everything, his world, in his head he knows it cheesy but he can’t help but be drawn to you, he wouldn’t even hide it.

Earlier this week, he got into a fight with some of Tony Zucco’s most loyal criminals, a regular fight.

He always wins.

Tony wasn’t too happy with this, in retaliation he sent some more to find information about Nightwing and who he was under the mask, this was no easy task. But, they managed to find *you*, his one weakness.

So they needed you in their little scheme in order to get Nightwing to fall for their trap. They ended up kidnapping you and had you tied up in some dingy place, they couldn’t have trapped you somewhere more comfortable?

It wouldn’t last very long until he found out, he took out his escrima sticks and swiftly took everyone out before he untied you quickly and hugged you tightly.

“What the fuck did they do to you…” He muttered to himself, anger and worry swirled within his voice. He felt like he failed as a partner, a protector. He didn’t need an answer to check your badly bruised body in concern. This wasn’t supposed to happen at all, you weren’t supposed to be involved.

“Don’t even try to give me that ’oh-don’t-worry-I’m-fine’, look, you hear?” He said sternly, despite his harshness, his slight humour always manages to make its way.
