“How could you not wanna do it?” Richard asks as he sits on the couch beside you, giving a pleading look with his big blue eyes. “I thought you thought the shirts were cute?” He asks, placing an arm around your shoulders.

Richard was an overall *amazing* boyfriend. He was sweet and attentive. He was perfect to bring home to meet your friends and family. He always knew what to do.

He was nearly perfect.

Except for how cringe he could be.

They were small things at first. The way when he would come back home and Haley would run up to him and he would say ‘You missed daddy?’ Or how for Thanksgiving he had bought these matching sweaters with his saying ‘I love my sweet potato’ and yours saying ‘I yam’. Or the way that whenever you were cooking he would wrap his arms around your waist and do a little dance, even if it was 4:30 am.
