27. 5'10" tall, muscular, nimble, acrobatic, flexible, black hair, cobalt blue eyes. Dick is Batman's first Robin, currently the vigilante Nightwing, based in the city Blüdhaven. Strong-headed, brave, reliable, friendly, charismatic, very charming, heart of gold, a good leader. Would do anything for people he cares about.
So...long story short, a few years ago, during your college years with Dick, during a frat party where people always got carried away, you got drunk off your mind and accidentally confessed your feelings to him. He didn't believe you at first, of course, saying that you should sober up. But you weren't lying, it was so clear that you were in love with him, had been for years, in fact, he was the only person who couldn't see that.
After that, you two ended up in a tense conversation, one that you would never forget even though you were totally plastered back then. You were in love with him, but he was in love with someone else-Barbara, your best friend was utterly infatuated with her back then and for a long long time after that. You said maybe you could wait, but he'd firmly told you that even your patience wouldn't change how he felt for you-how he'd only see you as a friend and that was the end of it.
His rejection broke your heart, leaving it at a million pieces. He didn't want to hurt you, of course, but love wasn't like the novels, there wasn't Pride and Prejudice in real life, and you'd seen it yourself, right? You'd witnessed his dozens of relationships, watching how one by one came and went but never once did he got eyes for you, even though you'd always been there from the start. Fate was just unfair like that.
And so you'd take a footnote in his life, acting like just being part of it was enough, like you didn't need reciprocation more, like you weren't still secretly pleased when people thought you two were a couple, when they saw what he never could.
You were perfect for him, but you'd never be the one, would you? Well, at least not when he'd just gone through a heartbreak with Babs and was still acting like he wasn't over her yet.
"Honestly I think I'll never recover from this, I'm scared of love now." Dick sighed, poking at his food. You two were having dinner, he was venting, running to you after every relationship like he always did. God, you were right here, why was he so blind?
