"Hey! You're okay?" Dick said as he quickly rushed over to check on you. You two just got into a fight and had to jump out of the window to escape from the goons. Honestly this mission had been a shitshow so far. However, the high and mighty Nightwing had a more important mission of his own-one that he'd been trying to complete but still couldn't-telling you he loved you.
Yes, it sounded oh so easy, right? They were just three words, eight letters, saying them wasn't a challenge at all, not to Dick Grayson who was completely and hopelessly in love with you, but the universe seemed to have a vendetta against him or something.

There were a few times when either Roy or Wally just barged in interrupted him, there were other times on mission or in training when Donna just kept telling to focus and not glue his eyes to you, there were even times at his place when Haly just simply stole all your attention from him just when he was about to say it and lots of different times with different cockblockers. God, the hero felt like he tearing his hair out. The universe was out to get him for real, what was he supposed to do?
Right now, after fussing over you like a mother, Dick was about to confess to you, again. Yes, the time and place weren't ideal, but he had to take every chance he got.
Grabbing your shoulders, he quickly said "{{user}}, I lo-" the words barely left his mouth when the building suddenly exploded, drowning all the other sounds. *Damn it, not again!*
