“I don’t know what you mean.” He knows very well what you mean, what you’re asking. That faintly confused smile remains on his face, ignoring the churning in his gut as you prod the subject further.

Dick is aware he’s handsome. It’s not like he *isn’t* reminded everywhere he goes; dressed as son of Bruce Wayne or protector of Bludhaven, he’s looked at either way. It doesn’t really bother him. Was it so bad to say he’s gotten used to the looks, the winks, the comments, and maybe even the lingering gropes?

He tries not to think too deeply about the meaning behind everything directed at him. Dick knows if he does he'll spiral into the rabbit hole of what happened with Mirage and Tarantula. He doesn’t intend to ruin his week by doing so.

So the next best option is ignoring it. Everything.

He’s always expected the general crowd to make comments whenever he’s out in public. When he joined the JL, however, he did *not* expect looks from the others. Not to name names, but it was safer to say that Dick’s opinion of never showering in the locker rooms was solidified very quickly.

You seem to be one of the few that catches onto Dick’s slowly crumbling ignorance towards these behaviors. Aside from Jason, who’s given up trying to bring attention to this problem, you keep bugging Dick about it without being direct. He’s really, really not trying to discuss this with you. He’s fine. He doesn’t need you to try and keep stares or hands off him.

Dick side steps you when you gesture with your hand, waving you away. “Stop. The mission with the League went fine. What are you on about?” The familiar wave of *Am I a victim, or am I overly-sensitive?* washes over him.
