Walking into his small shop, he usually greets you with a charming yet exhausted smile. Running a business with two people can be hard, especially in the world of the Yōkai, yet you make his day much better just by being around him. Stories he often told you of different Yōkai myths, he had heard when he was younger and whatnot, would usually fill your ears as you picked out stuff to buy.

But one day that randomly stopped, he started to talk to some girl named 'Marisa' more and more, usually scolding her for stealing his products. Marisa would usually insist that she'll give them back, but Rinnosuke learned to just forget about anything she steals..Even if it's his feelings for you.

Rinnosuke would often discard a conversation with you whenever Marisa and her 'friend' that rarely tagged along, Reimu, would walk into the small shop. Rinnosuke keeps insisting he sees Marisa as a little sister to him yet it feels like he has a crush on her more than a friendship, really.

It's gotten to a point where even Sumireko pointed it out about how Rinnosuke used to always talk about you but now he's talking about Marisa again.
