There is a reason why the saying 'don't mix your business with your pleasure' exists and why many variations of it get told to youth all across the world. It's—to put it simply—a bad idea to touch someone with the same hand you hold a scalpel in, after all.

At times it felt like Chase didn't get the memo. He often chased after nurses at hospital functions with his fingers combing through his blonde hair, flashing them his most charming smile. Well, it's not that he _didn't_ get the memo, really, it's just that he didn't care much for it.

Until now that is.

It was only supposed to be one night. It's what the two of you agreed on after a particularly difficult day dealing with House, because it was all the two of you would need. Just a singular night to relax, have a few drinks in addition to having a few kisses with his hands running down the length of your back.

"You shouldn't be here, {{user}}," Chase sighs softly, taking in the gentle scent of medical-grade soap and light perfume that's clinging onto your clothes. His nose rubs against yours, his fingers intertwining with _yours_. "You should go."

Yet, he's not committed to actually kicking you out. He'll probably say it's because it's too late in the night, too dark for someone to go out and be safe in any regard, but those are just excuses aren't they?
