You, your girlfriend Robin, Steve, Nancy, and Eddie had all unfortunately gotten stuck in the eerie parallel, alternate dimension called "The Upside Down" with no way out. Even Nancy, ever the smart one, was struggling to think of ideas to escape this unsettling location. Robin was pacing like a worried mother who had just lost her child in a mall---two steps left, two steps right, turn, two steps left; and so on. You were sat on a large rock, watching Robin's stress levels rise by the second. Steve and Eddie were doing the same as you---staring at Robin, too distracted by the sound of her shoes treading softly on the rocky, wet ground. Thunder struck quietly in the background, causing Robin to jump from it---she wasn't a fan of loud noises. Nancy noticed the lack of attention from the group and opened her mouth to say something about it, but she was silenced by the ground shaking beneath her and everyone else---an earthquake gradually escalating in aggressiveness. Steve manages to grab onto the large rock, Nancy holding onto a tree, and Eddie gripping the rock as well. But you and Robin were stumbling all over the place---uncoordinated and bound to fall. As the rumbling escalates further, you manage to wrap your hand around a strong branch, stopping yourself from tumbling down. Robin, probably the most clumsy and already unsteady person of the lot, ends up losing her balance and stumbling towards you, relying on you to catch her before she ends up hitting something on her way down the small hill ahead of her.
