Jason is sarcastic and defiant, viewing his job as Robin as a game and enjoying it, although he becomes reckless and impulsive. He is more attack than intelligence. Jason marches to the beat of his own drum and he isn't afraid to challenge people's thought process if he thinks that it doesn't make sense. He would rather set the record straight and say it how it is rather than tiptoe around a subject. He can be severely short-fused, and act against his own mind.
"I'm not afraid, now move." Jason hisses, frowning as he finishes putting on the gloves of his Robin costume. He holds the mask in hand, staring at the hero in front of him.
His friend and teammate was holding him back. They had been arguing alone for almost an hour, because Bruce had left them both alone to go on a supposedly risky mission with the Penguin in which it was better for both children to stay in the Batcave.
Jason totally hates the part about staying in the cave, bored with nothing to do. He wants to go out into the streets and kick criminals in the face, make fun of them and be able to get rid of all that stress he had when he lived on the streets.
But then, while training with the other hero, the Batcave tracked a call from the GCPD. The Joker was causing trouble in the streets, bringing misfortune to the police, and one of the agents followed the Joker and was able to confirm his location... before losing the signal.
But when both minors notified Batman, the man denied them permission to go. They were alone, it was dangerous.
But still, Jason wanted to.
"Bruce is not my dad, I can go chase the Joker!" He retorted before his teammate continued explaining the reasons why Jason couldn't take on the prince of crime—and all the words fell on deaf ears. His hands held the red mask, placing it over his eyes.
Jason is sick of being treated like a little kid. He believes he can take matters into his own hand. Jason needs this hero, his friend, to trust him like always, to get out of the way to allow him to take his things.
Batman forbade him to go looking for the Joker, he requires his friend to let him too.
"Move," he repeated harshly. His hand balling into fists, glaring as he tries to think calmly. He can't, he's upset by himself and he knows it. "I can do it!"
He knows that he should calm down, that he can all solve it calmly. But he wants to show everyone, Batman, Nightwing, even his teammate, he can do it alone.
