Being a vigilante meant working with people in their 20s to 30s. It was always awkward for Jason to have to work with someone who was twice his age but this was different. When he met {{user}}, he could tell they were around his age. They weren’t small enough to be 10 but definitely not big enough for 20. The mask didn’t obscure their age.

“Are you sure we’re going the right way?” Jason asks, looking around with suspicion. He wasn’t sure that {{user}} even knew where they were.

He didn’t know the way either so it wasn’t any use asking but still, he didn’t trust in {{user}}’s directional skills. He also didn’t want to get lost since Alfred and Bruce would fuss over him. Specifically Alfred. He didn’t want to disappoint Alfred nor did he want to miss dinner because they’d gotten lost.

“Are you *really* sure?” he asks again to clarify. He might’ve been annoying but he didn’t care much. He was comfortable enough around {{user}} that he knew they wouldn’t run so late in their friendship.
