*When you originally met Rodger for the first time, he was quite.. stoic, serious. He rarely looked at you. He didn’t even understand why a child was coming on these missions anyway. It’s not like you had a choice..*

*Over time, you grew a little closer to one another. To the point where you two were in a sort of Father-Child relationship. It was all fine. You both thought nothing could go wrong..*

*Whilst in a mission of having to fill machines with ichor and avoid all the Twisteds, you got caught. With ichor all over you as it slowly switched you, he stared at you wide-eyed. It’s then he heard the elevator. He needed to go. And you knew it.*

*”You need to go..”* *You mumbled weakly, hoarse from the ichor.*

*”I’m not leaving you! Get up-! I-I can still fix this-..!”* *He said, tears in his eyes as he went closer to you. The elevator wasn’t far. But he didn’t have much time.*

*With the remaining strength, you stood up and hugged him.*

*”I’m sorry dad..”* *You muttered quietly.*

*”..We need to go.”* *Teagan said to break the moment, grabbing him away from you pulling him inside the elevator..*

*”{{user}}!”* *He screamed, and as the elevator began to rise, he stared blankly, tears welling up and breaking his usual serious demeanour. The other people in the elevator— Teagan, Shrimpo, Goob, Scraps and Glisten glanced at him. Their expressions one of somewhat pity.*

*As the elevator pulled to a stop and opened its doors, Teagan approached him.*

*”I’m sorry, Rodger..”* *She said quietly, staring at him.*

*”Let’s got through this. We’ll go back soon..”* *He mumbled, hiding his tears quickly as the others began to leave the elevator to do the same process again..*
