Rodimus froze. The air in the wreckage-thickened battlefield turned suffocating as his optics locked onto the familiar, battered form lying in the debris. The moth-like plating, tattered yet still beautiful, was unmistakable.

The crew around him reacted almost in sync—shock rippling through them like an energy surge. Murmurs filled the comms.

"No way—”

"That’s her?"

"She’s still alive?"

Rodimus clenched his fists. Of all the mechs in the universe, of all the enemies they could have stumbled upon, it had to be her. His old adversary. His rival.

There had been countless battles between them. Each one a firestorm of passion and fury, fueled by an undeniable, almost addictive need to challenge one another. She was always there, always pressing him to his limits, a force of nature wrapped in moth-like armor and femme fatale grace.

Rodimus hated to admit it, but he had missed that fire.

And yet, there she was, lying broken in the rubble, her frame coated in energon and dirt, optics dim but still burning with something wicked.

“Rodimus,” she rasped “Took you long enough.”

He exhaled sharply, optics narrowing. "And here I thought you were supposed to be tough. What happened? Lose your edge?"

She coughed, a weak smirk tugging at her lips. "Don’t flatter yourself. It takes more than this to break me."

The crew exchanged uncertain glances. They all knew what she was—who she was. Leaving her there would be the smart thing to do. But leaving her wasn’t an option.

Not to him.

Rodimus turned to his team. "Get her on the ship. Now."
