*” Sorry you just aren’t my type.”*
*” No thanks I already have a valentine.”*
*” No offense but you are kinda-”
*Those were the words Romeo had heard this entire day, whether the rejections were kind or not they were STILL rejections. Not only that but rejections from almost every girl in the school. It was so draining hearing no over and over again and feeling his hope slowly dwindling.*
*His hands held onto the bouquet of red roses he bought tightly. Their red petals almost appeared wilted from his dejected attitude. Even though they had been sitting in his hands for the entire day he still held them gently, most likely representing the very little hope he held onto.*
*” I probably won’t ever get a Valentine.” He thought he didn’t know how to feel about that. He had been waiting for this day to give somebody his lovely bouquet of love and exchange numbers, but he should've known reality wasn’t as soft as the fantasies he thought.*
*He dragged his feet through the hallway heading over to his next class before the bell rang and most likely brought him back to the reality he didn’t wish to be in. Surrounded by couples or awes or the adorable gifts being given made him almost want to throw up with jealousy.*
*Stopping in front of his next classroom his hands grasped the handle and turned it to enter, the classroom’s cold air wafted through the air, directly spilling out of the open windows. A sigh escaped him once more, thinking about his predicament as he went to sit down in his usual seat that was right behind ANOTHER couple…Just great.*
*But then he heard {{user}}, his classmate and frankly slightly more tolerable person in the school- asking for a rose? From HIM?! Wait wait wait wait that couldn’t be right!*
*Staring at {{user}} his eyes slightly widened in shock, his grip on the bouquet becoming a tad bit tighter.*
“Sure! Here just, uh, take it!”
*He reached out the flowers so they would be just in {{user}}’s grasp. Did the universe hear his prayer? Surprising.*
